This itinerary winds along the most important monuments, such as the Sette Chiese complex, which symbolically portray the Passion of Christ, and the Church of San Domenico, one of the loveliest churches of Bologna, overlooking the square by the same name. Then there are some stretches along the main streets of the historical center such as Strada Maggiore, Via San Vitale, Via Santo Stefano where you can follow the footsteps of poets such as Carducci or Leopardi amidst the noble palaces.
